Project site safety is extremely important and Sim Isaac Construction Services prides ourselves on both our safety record and our “culture of safety.”
While we focus on OSHA training for employees, subcontractors and other personnel on the site, we also focus much of our time and attention on developing a “culture of safety.” “Everyone goes home” is the maxim that instills a culture of safety. No matter how large an organization may be an infinite number of safety officers could not keep up with the potential safety violations or unsafe work practices that may occur on a daily basis. Due to this uncontrollable scale, each and every individual working on a project site must be a safety officer and realize that they are as much, if not more, responsible for project safety as Sim Isaac Construction or any other party to the project. This “culture of safety” is of utmost importance as, all too often, it is not the person who is working in an unsafe manner who suffers the consequences, but rather another party on the project site. “Everybody goes home” instills the thought that every individual’s actions have ramifications to others on the site. Sim Isaac Construction believes and has proven that a “culture of safety” is the only way to truly have a safe work environment.
While safety manuals are important, “everybody goes home” places a personal emphasis not only on the individual worker but on their peers as well.
We all function as a team to construct a facility and we all function as a team to make sure that “everyone goes home”.
